The Energy Ambassador Program educates residents, homeowners and businesses about energy efficiency and home performance.  The majority of our housing stock in San Mateo County was built between 1920 and 1980, when energy efficiency was not understood.  Unfortunately, many of us may live in underperforming homes with comfort or health problems or high energy bills.

The best way to improve our quality of life and to solve the root cause of the issues in our home is to take a whole-house approach.  Through a comprehensive energy assessment using science, tools and technology, energy professionals can accurately identify what is going on in your home.
