What is an Energy Assessment?
The Process
The energy assessment process is a way to look at your whole house as a system. There are three steps to the process. 1. The symptoms. We start by identifying and qualifying the problems that you are experiencing in your home. Through an interview, a visual inspection of your entire home and using technology, energy professionals can identify the root cause of those problems. 2. The diagnosis. Energy modeling and analysis of your home. They can find exactly how each room is performing compared to how it should perform. Energy losses and gains are quantified in each category of home performance. 3. The cure. Energy professionals give you a priority list of how to fix those symptoms.
