College Jobs

With rising cost of tuition, fees, and living expenses, more and more college students are finding the need to work while in school. If you are a college student in San Mateo County, there are various options that are available to help you find work after you’ve been through Craigslist and the classifieds.

Peninsula Works: Peninsula Works is the premiere source of employment info and training solutions in San Mateo County.  Peninsula Works provides support for youth job seekers at a number of different branches, including Daly City, San Carlos, Redwood City, and Menlo Park.  Each year, Jobs for Youth program serves over 3,000 youth with employment services.  Peninsula Works is a free resource targeted at ages 14-21.

Local college career centers: All of the colleges in the San Mateo County Community College District (including Skyline College, College of San Mateo, and Canada College) have active career centers to assist students with finding jobs.  They can be visited in person, or online.
