Client Representative, High-Growth Green Start-up

We are currently seeking to hire a Client Representative for our San Francisco team. Some of the projects that you will be responsible for are:

-Greatly increasing customer satisfaction through improved communication and turn-around time
-Ensuring that our services are well suited for the customers’ needs through effective listening and independent decision making
-Creating processes that increase team-member efficiency and can scale to a national level
-Learning Building Science in order to describe what we do to prospective customers
-Helping to manage our team of Home Performance Specialists through efficient scheduling and thorough follow-up on client communications and paperwork.

Qualifications:
We are looking for hard-working folks interested in making a positive impact on the environment. He/she must possess an entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a fast-paced, demanding work setting. Other requirements:

-Compassionate listener who is interested in solving our customer’s home-related issues and can efficiently communicate them to our home auditing teams
-A track record of successfully selling a service or product that is meaningful to you
-Able to respond to high volume in-bound phone inquiries for entire work days while keeping track of client concerns and progress.
-Self-motivated to go above-and-beyond the daily call of duty
-Comfortable working in a highly collaborative team environment
-Able to maintain positivity and high-energy while performing somewhat repetitive duties

Preferred:
We prefer to hire folks who have an understanding of green building practices and experience installing residential heating systems, air conditioners, thermostatic controls and/or insulation. Ideally, the candidate will have an understanding of energy-efficient/green building practices. While extensive knowledge of building science is not required, it will become an essential part of the job, so you should be enthusiastic to learn how reducing residential energy use can make a positive impact on the environment.

Compensation:
Annual base wage of $35,000 plus commission and a quarterly bonus. The bonus is based on a combination of customer satisfaction and profit margin.

Benefits:
Our benefits package includes ten paid time off days, six paid holidays and three paid sick days per year. We offer health, dental and vision coverage plus a green benefit that provides $50.00 to each employee who bikes or walks to work, or reimbursement of public transportation costs up to $100.00 per month. Employees are afforded a great deal of independence and responsibility for their work within our collaborative work environment.
